Salahuddin Sagor : Sharmin Shahria, sister of slain retired Major Sinaha, filed a case in Cox’s Bazar. She reached in Caox’s Bazar at around 9:30 am on Wednesday and filed the case with Cox’s Bazar Judicial Magistrate Court. Family members accompanied her at that time.

After filing the case Sharmin Shahria confirmed the matter to Channel Durjoy .In the case 9 people including Teknaf police station Officer in-Charge Pradeep Kumar Das and Baharchhara police post in-charge Liakat were made accused. The court in its order directed RAB to investigate the case.

Earlier, the investigation committee began its work on Tuesday morning. The probe committee chief additional divisional commissioner Mizanur Rahman reached in Cox’s Bazar and began its formal work through a coordination meeting.On August 31 at around 10 pm former Major of Bangladesh army Sinha Mohammad Rashed Khan was killed by police firing at Shamlapur check post under Baharchhara union on Cox’s Bazar-Teknaf marine drive.
